Jonathan was appointed Chief Executive Officer at Datanomic in October 2006 having joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in 2003. Since Jonathan’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer, the company’s global customer base has increased by a factor of 13 (predominantly blue chip organisations) and revenues have grown over 120% year on year (Dec 2009).

Datanomic is now the biggest independent Data Management and Risk & Compliance Screening Company in the world.

The Company enjoys a placing in the ‘Visionaries’ quadrant of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Data Quality Tools (2009) and holds a host of Industrial awards.

Jonathan was previously Finance Director, EMEA at Convergys Corporation (NYSE – CVG), where he had overall financial responsibility for its billing software and services business. Prior to Convergys he was Financial Controller of Geneva Technology, a Cambridge UK based billing software company. During his period at Geneva he helped grow the business into a $50m revenue and 450 people company prior to the acquisition by Convergys in 2001 for $692m.

Jonathan has also held senior financial positions within Thomas Cook Retail (travel agencies), and Semitool Inc (semiconductor) businesses.

Jonathan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996 with Coopers and Lybrand, having gained a PhD at the University of East Anglia and a BSc at the University of Wales, Bangor.
