The Datanomic Executive Team combines years of valuable best practice from the Data Management community with practical commercial expertise. The team regularly shares its ideas with clients and partners on how to build ROI business cases through the application of Datanomic’s Data Management software and services. The team is supported by a strong board and senior management team.

Dr Jonathan Pell ACA | Chief Executive Officer

Jonathan started at Datanomic in 2003 as CFO. Jonathan was previously Finance Director, EMEA at Convergys Corporation (NYSE - CVG), where he had overall financial responsibility for its billing software and services business. Prior to Convergys he was Financial Controller of Geneva Technology, a Cambridge UK based billing software company. During his period at Geneva he helped grow the business into a $50m revenue and 450 people company prior to the acquisition by Convergys in 2001 for $692m.

Jonathan has also held senior financial positions within Thomas Cook Retail (travel agencies), and Semitool Inc (semiconductor) businesses.

Jonathan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996 with Coopers and Lybrand, having gained a PhD at the University of East Anglia and a BSc at the University of Wales, Bangor.

Ian Clubb | Chief Operating Officer

Ian initially joined Datanomic as Chief Technology Officer in 2004 to lead the specification and development of the revolutionary dn:Director product. In addition to his product responsibilities, he now also leads pre-sales and strategic partner engagements.

Prior to Datanomic, Ian was Vice President, Advanced Systems at Convergys Corporation (NYSE - CVG) where he led a team of senior architects in the development of highly scalable transaction processing architectures, exploiting a range of emerging technologies. Ian joined Convergys as part of their acquisition of Geneva Technology where he led Product Management for the international award-winning billing software.

Ian has a degree in Mathematics and a Diploma in Mathematical Statistics from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.

Steve Tuck | Chief Strategy Officer

Steve joined Datanomic as Chief Strategy Officer in 2005 with responsibility for setting the strategic direction for the development and market positioning of Datanomic's products. He also has responsibility for Datanomic's solutions and marketing.

Steve brings more than 20 years IT experience to Datanomic, 14 of which have been gained specifically in data quality management. During his career, Steve has improved data quality for organizations including BT, Thomas Cook, Credit Suisse, Norwich Union and the Inland Revenue.

Steve has also held a number of senior IT roles including manager of products and services at data management specialist Kognitio and Managing Director of Tranato, a specialist data quality consultancy acquired by Datanomic in 2006. He is also a Charter Member of the International Association of Information and Data Quality (IAIDQ - www.iaidq.org) and Secretary of its UK Community of Practice.

Gerald Kelley | Director - Professional Services

Gerry is a founding member of the Datanomic team, and initially was responsible for the development and delivery of Professional Services. Gerry continues to lead Professional Services and in addition is responsible for the co-ordination of Business Engagement.

Gerry was previously Director of Development at TrustMarque International where he was responsible for the design and development of their suite of secure electronic commerce solutions. Gerry has 25 years of experience in product development, and general management roles with international technology companies.

Gerry has a degree in Experimental Psychology from Balliol College, Oxford.

Simon Pearson | Director - Client Screening

Simon joined Datanomic in December 2006 as Sales Director. Simon brings global Sales and Marketing experience from his more than 20 years in the IT industry. He has held senior sales positions with ATG and Primus and was Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing at Obtree, Inc, a European Web Content Management software company which enjoyed rapid growth under his leadership.

Prior to Obtree, Simon served with HP in Silicon Valley, California leading global sales and marketing programs within HP’s UNIX systems business. Prior to this he held sales and management positions with HP in the UK, becoming one of HP’s top sales achievers in Europe.

Simon started his career in administration with IBM in London and holds an MBA from Edinburgh University.

Jeremy Lovett| Director – Alliances & Data Quality Integration (DQI) Line of Business

As part of Datanomic’s partner-centric strategy, Jeremy joined in 2007 to drive projects and revenues with the Datanomic Alliances and Delivery Partner network.

Previously, he worked in Business Development and Alliances roles at Hewlett-Packard (Major Accounts and Healthcare), Sequent (in the Data Warehousing/Customer Relationship Management/Call Centre markets), Stratus (24 x 7 Business-Critical Applications) and Saba (HR/Human Capital Management Applications).
