Bucking the global recession, Datanomic sees 40% increase in customer implementations, revenue triple digit growth for
fourth consecutive year and increases staff numbers by over 50%
In direct response to increasing demand for the company’s Risk and Compliance Screening solution and its core dn:Director data management application – fuelling triple digit year-on-year growth for the fourth consecutive year – Datanomic today announced a new Director of Alliances, four key Senior Sales appointments to its UK office, as well as the appointment of two additional Pre-Sales executives. The increase in demand generated a 40 per cent rise in customer implementations last year, prompting Datanomic to boost staff numbers by more than 50 per cent.
Bucking the global recession, Datanomic has continued to invest in talent and plans to continue to recruit both domestically and internationally throughout 2010. The company has already appointed a Director for its new North American operation, and has extended its sales reach into the Asia Pacific region. The four latest appointments span Datanomic’s core vertical markets: Financial Services, Telecommunications and Retail; areas which have all seen high year-on-year revenue growth.
Mike Snape joins Datanomic as Director of Alliances from SAS where he spent the last four years as UK Head of Alliances, owning the strategy for all UK partner relations. Prior to this, Mike spent 7 years at PeopleSoft in the area of field alliance management, marketing and business development activity and latterly, managing the IBM relationship across EMEA.
David Thornton and Heidi James both join Datanomic as Senior Sales Consultants supporting the Risk & Compliance Screening division. David has a wealth of experience within the Financial Services industry with previous positions including Sales Executive for Capita Tracing Solutions and Banking Sector Manager for Experian Payments. Heidi comes to Datanomic from Dun & Bradstreet where she specialised in Risk and Compliance. Prior to that, she held the position of Anti-Money Laundering Specialist with Dow Jones Watchlist.
Joining the Data Management Applications (DMA) division are Brian Harvey and Morgan Jay. Brian brings extensive experience of both the Telecommunications and Utilities markets through previous roles at Geneva Technology Ltd/Convergys and SPL Worldgroup (as Business Development Director). Morgan will focus on solutions sales working exclusively with Enterprise accounts within the Financial Services sector. His previous roles include Senior Solution Strategist for CA-Wily and Territory Account Manager for HP, responsible for business technology optimisation (BTO) sales. The appointment of Morgan and Brian will see them support organisations within Financial Services and Telecommunications to ensure business critical data is fit-for-purpose, facilitating ROI workshops and tangible returns around specific business benefits.
“These new appointments add considerable depth to our capabilities in our core verticals,” said Dr Jonathan Pell, CEO of Datanomic. “We are expecting another year of record breaking growth, and it is imperative for us to keep investing in the business to properly support customer and market demand with the right skills and talent. We will continue to recruit high caliber individuals with deep sector expertise, as well as invest in our ongoing R&D to deliver market leading innovation and award winning solutions for our customers.”
